Tampa to be linked with rest of state via high-speed rail

Tampa may be connected to Orlando via a high-speed railway by 2015 if the project stays on schedule and if politics do not get in the way. But, the long-term future of the grander project may be in doubt, despite the US losing ground internationally.

Tampa's crown jewel is Ybor City, the historic Cuban neighborhood.
